Seat Mechanism

Hi,

Is it possible to change the seat mechanism that puts the seat up and down on a hand roller, because mine does not work, it's a grey sr seat mk1.

what side seat is it i have a passenger one for sale if ya interested all working fine,

p.s have the driver as well, but bolster patch is completely off the seat

nope drivers, and i only just brought them. Thanks for the offer but i rather like fixing things.

Should be possible, tbh your better off just stripping the seat, as it could be any number of things.

there is some black plastics where the top seat and bottom seat join, the plastics are joined to the fabric, if ya carfully unclip these you might be able to see more:thumb:

ok so you should see soemthing like this

then undo the black platic bits which go all the way across.

then you should be able to peel the two bits back and get this

p.s i dont live in a dirty house lol, they just gather ****. and in the 3rd pic, note the circlip on the end, might be able to take it apart??

Yeah i did see the circlip so there must be a way of getting to the inners, best way is to take apart i guess, thanks for the pictures they do help. + rep comming your way bud
