the div also drove it back from gatwick with the headgasket gone lol

I wonder if it was Raymond's bro who i talked to then, as i remember this car's been around for ages in the png, I'm talking 10 years plus, and i saw it down Shakespeare race way about 3 years back, was XE on T45's, did some good times too.

after stripping the car down i cant see any evidence of it ever being an xe. We have had to do all the stregnthening and cut out for the alternator etc.

I like that the car has some history :-) but im sorry guys and gals its no longer staying pink and silver nor having teddies on haha

iirc when damo's brother sprayed it (in one day!) he just sprayed directly over the rot and rust, so might be worth poking about with a screwdriver for any hidden areas dude :thumb:

we have striped it right back and cut all rot out and replaced pannels were needed, the paint job was really bad, nothing that cant be fixed with a fresh coat ov st orange
