I registered on PNG earlier today and thought i'd say Hi. :cool:

I've not got a Nova (yet -*Edit* that bit's now a lie) but been looking at one and need to ask a few questions, so couldn't think of a better place to ask.

A little about me.
I'm 34 and driven Vauxhalls for all but my first Car (an 850cc Mini)

I currently have a daily drive of a Mk4 Astra 1.8 SRi (3 Door) and my wife has a Corsa C 1.4 SRi. Also have a Carlton as a "toy" :D

Been a mad Vauxhall nut for a while and am a Derbyshire Region RO for VxSCC.

I'll go and ask a few questions.

Hello Keif and welcome.
A little about me.
I'm 44, and have only ever owned two Vauxhalls before the current crop of 4,Mk1+2 Nova's and a Corsa Sport and half built Corsa rally slag, was a Ford man before.
My wife drives a Focus and she does understand me. lol

the main trouble is that plastic trim bits are getting scarce, things like the towing eye cover & interior bits.

The Bumshunters Corporation was formed due to some on here who thought I was a corporation/company, due to me using wordslike, stock, goods I have in garage, customers, repairing cars for people that are not friends.
It is a "for profit organisation", mainly in the form of tea and coffee, due to the amount that Draper, Iainel and his girlfriend, beno-nova, prey, the Guru, and any other car owning freak that turns up gets through.:roll:

Guests, is this a banned word?, get there first tea or coffee made for them, thereafter, they are regarded as family and so have to take their turn at the kettle, oh and at the Shunting Post,:eek: all will be made clear if and when you visit the Good Ship "Langley Mill"

GSi's one owner from NEW. Only sold it due to ill health.

It's staying as it was out the box. It's far too original to change at this late stage of it's life. :)

No Draper, just have a few friends there (one being a salesman).

The story goes.
Sat at the pub last Sunday (Derbyshire VxSCC meet) my fellow RO gets a text from the owner giving him details, a few texts and a phonecall later, we decide to pop over and have a look.

The other RO decides agains't having it due to already owning 5 Vauxhalls.

After a week of thinking about it, we (me and the wife) went back. Drove it, and got to the nitty gritty of £££'s. We agreed on a (low) price.

We went back on Monday and bought it.

Not planning to at the moment, due to it's shocking organisation last year.

However, buying the GSi may have changed that plan.

It didn't do many miles last year due to it being in bits for while. However the year before it did 4 miles under it's 3000 limit.

It'll probably next be out for it's MOT next week. (Got three other cars to move before it comes out to play now :()
