Fitting Centre Console

Hi guys i have done the good old mk2 dash into mk1 but for some reason i cant get the centre console to fit it just seems too big lol

iirc its due to the differnet tunnel on the mk1 compared to the mk2.

Yep you'll need the mk2 console. Personally I would have kept the mk1 stuff. Mk2 = gay!! lol

Yes mate and it doesnt seem to go forward enough

Mine does that. I just put it down to the Mk1 shell not having the bracket under the dash that the Mk2 has.
