I've got to finish welding Drapers shell,fit cage and extensions to turrets, door barsetc, and he'll help build it up, then finish Draper's other Nova, welding, top end rebuild, new front wings, mot and paint, complete a Corsa Sport,inner and outer paint and rebuild interior and some body workand all new suspension, mot.
Then strip the bike carb stuff off my Nova, put it back to std SR spec and sell it. Build up a MK1 Nova rallycar, and go play, all before I can do my next project,small block V8 rwd MK1 Astra.

my next project wont be for me, once the Novas out the garage me and my dad will be builing another Alpine A110 - lovley little cars.

next one for me will 110% be a Cav. really want to do an all white Gsi rep with grey pro race 3s - clelland btcc style

Nova's will never be mk2 Escort rare lol. The main reason the Escort is, is the rallying pedigree and RWD layout. Not cos they look cool lol

Hhhmmm, I may finish the Nova one year, pod it, sell it, then think about an immense project of epic building site proportions & extend where ever I live at the time, and build a silly size double garage with a pitch roof.

Then think about either flat screen Beetle with a nice 911 motor, Escort Cosworth or indeed pimp it up in a 911 Turbo.

i'm driving a red nk2 gti golf at the minute.......and could see me holding onto it for a good while......and maybe giving it a bit of a rebuild aswell at some stage.....as its a crackin wee car.

idealey..........i'd love a decent xe'd chevette/kadette/or mk2 escort at some stage in the future......maybe even a manta........but prices for anything decent to start with are wild unfortunatly.

You get used to the offset pedal position. Although the cars are mainly driven by cocks they are actually a fantastic drivers car.

TBH it all depends what happens in the next few months as to what my next project is....

If we buy a house:
i will either have a Seat Ibiza Cupra,a Civic type R or a S2 106 Rallye as a daily driver and tweek them and depending what the money situations like i will start(a slow process!)of building a 1600 16v throttle bodied track/weekend fun nova and maybe just maybe buy a R5GTT to also keep in the garage for poops and giggles!lol



If we dont buy a house and i manage to get a lockup/garage:
I will just buy a little ****ter as a run about and concentrate on building a nova track car and pile all my money into thatlol :roll:


also looking to go to night school in september to study fabrication and welding so i kinda guess thats a "me" project! lol
