throttle bracket for xe on throttle bodies

As above i have a set of QED throttle bodies on my xe but im not paying 130 pounds for a bracket. any pics of what other ppl have made will be great or advice.

I have tapered throttle bodies and I made this up.

The bottom bit it just a bit of ally cut so that you can bolt it to the bodies and then I butchered an XE throttle bracket for the top part and got them welded together.

any day soon im due to pick up a bowyer developments linkage kit that uses the o.e gm throttle cable on t.b's, although its for small block im sure they do one for xe's seeing as 45mm parrallels on a dcoe inlet is a popular fitment of t.bs to big blocks too..

what the purpose of this then? I'm curious because I've got to do somthing with my R1 carbs as the cable as standard wants to stick straight up which rubs on the bonnet and looks naff!
