1996 Peugeot 306 1.9STDT
Good bits
10 Months MOT
4 Months TAX
In the last month it's had CAMBELT change, alternator, alternator belt, and a basic service.
Being an ST, it has 4 electric windows, electric sunroof, power steering, adjustable steering column, colour coded mirrors, height adjustable drivers seat, front fog lamps and alloys.
Front tyres are brand new, rears are about half worn, spare is a matching alloy and a boot.
LOADS of boot space.
Polishes up well, nice tidy interior.
'Peugeot' headrest covers x4
Angel eye headlights in perfect working order.
Front and middle sections of exhaust are new, for the MOT (which it had to have fresh as a CAT C) it had a track rod end, both rear wheel cylinders, the rear exhaust box welded and new wiper blades.
Not so good bits
I bought it as a Cat C write off, god knows why it was Cat C not Cat D as it required no work to make roadworthy, the damage is light rear, the bumper had been pushed in slightly so the tow eye cover will not close fully and the rear panel has been pushed in slightly, it could quite easily be knocked back out but you can't see it so I it's not worth doing, the only thing is that over bumps the spare wheel carrier makes a cluncking noise as it is too close to the rear panel, doesn't affect the drive at all, just makes a noise.
The car has been properly VIC tested and is fully legal.
There are 4 holes in the top of the boot as I was going to fit a 405 spoiler, the spoiler hasn't been painted yet so the holes have been covered for now, the spoiler is included in the sale.
Body not perfect, there are some scratches and minor dents but for the most part they are difficult to notice.
Brake pad warning light on due to broken wire on passenger front.
'Water in filter' light faulty.
At the end of the day, it's got loads of tax and mot and the all important cambelt has been changed. And the car has great MPG. It's not perfect so don't expect it, but it is good.
