Brother in laws astra's ecu has gone kaboom.

It's a mk4 x reg with a 1.6 8 valve engine, jut want to know what the engine is.

if its spi8v it x16szr, if its mpi 8v its z16se, if its 16v z16xe.

No probs fella, whats up with the ecu? which engine does he have? Ecus were only problems on the early x16szr iirc.

Mega bad running probs, no diagnosis is coming up on computer thing, nothing simple/mundane causing the problem so were going to get a scrappy ecu to try.

It's is the spi 8 valve he has which has the ecu problems
