any one no the law on a fuel tank in the back of your car or where i can find the rules and regs of a mot

There is no "law" regarding it but obvious procedures apply!!

Must be a sealed unit that doesnt leak (obviously) and be very safely mounted, thats about it.

so it dosnt need a fire wall round it ? where can the filler be mounted.
also dose it have to be a foam fillep baffled tank of not

Im a tester and theer are a couple of points to make some have been said but ill say them again. no leaks-filler cap must seal-must be secured-and most inportant breather pipes must exit the car incase it rolls. part from that all good i would probably cover it with checker plate or something. what you got planned?

i got a nova and the people that had it be4 me used it for track and weled a plate into the filler neck (where it meats the car) skimmed with filler and sprayed it i like the smooth look and dont want to start hacking at it again so i am gonna put a alloy cell in the back it is a hatch btw
