lol at this i found while bored.....

Going to santa pod you realise how few of your normal "boy racer" cars you see there. Thats because they just wont cut it on the track, stickers wont help there. A normal Nova 1.4SR I've heard will give you a 1/4 mile time of 21seconds (considering I've seen Nova GSi's stripped and modded get 18.44 I would think this entirely possible, seeing as an SR is 30bhp down on power) compare that 21 seconds to a 1.1 metro's time of 19.4 seconds, now you realise why they dont show up.

Now I'm still driving a metro, so I can assume the usual sniggers and such when I'm parked up. But that turns to a questioning second glance from people after you've just laid a few sub 18 second time down (or in the case of a 1.8 sub 16 seconds).

Utter crap, i'm sorry but i dont even agere a 1.4sr wouldn't touch 21secs. A 2.5 V6 vectra, which does 0-60 over 2.5 seconds quicker, let alone 100mph, so whoever told you 21secs doesn't know what there on about! Exvitermini's Nissan Skyline, does the quarter in 10secs with standards (treaded) tires on. I'd like to see proof of a sr doing such a time. :|

get a life i have a Rover 100 aka metro! its a 1.1kseries (which is so under estimated its great)and destroys any nova that comes near it, even has killed xr2i's b4 now. WAKE UP, everyones laughing at you not with u.

i learn in a rover 100 1.1 and it is flat as fook the acceleration is so much better on my nova and mines only a 1.2i (nippy for what it is but nowt special) and if it so good y dont more people modify them?!

My girlfriend has a Rover metro 1.1 and it is horrible. There is no power, the engine screeches if you try and apply presure to the accelerator it's just bad, very very bad. My brother has the 1.1 Sport edition and thats nothing special either. To say hes beaten Xr2i's is a dream, unless they were stationary at the time.
