Well today wasnt as good as last time as all we could find was mrk3 astra's and cav's.
We did find 2 novas but nothing of any good left on them realy.
We did find one treasure a lhd calibra so i nabbed the opel blitz centre caps and blitz for the steering wheel.
One very sad moment at the last yard we went to when we found a evo that looks like it had been stollen then tourched for no reason.
What a waste.

We think this was the beetle from scrapheap challenge from a few years back that had a pug diesal engine in it.

Ooh thats a rare old cav estate there! Didnt look too bad as far as a scrap car goes. The vauxhall breakers near has got a mk1 astra in recently :cool:

Can i ask whats holding the bonett up in the first pic. looks like it hovering.
I think it was a windscreen wiper on the passenger side
As for the loon GB you would be lucky if the grumpy old git would get it down let alone you buy the thing lol.

Wow , my scrappy would have taken them evo's alloys off long before it got on the heap !!
intercooler on the evo? gb they cant fit the fatt ass in a bag or pocket, so no!!! theres one up here in a scrappy, rotten wants £100 last i asked for it....

Cut yours. Thats what i have done with mine. Riveted some brackets in and a olt either side holds it in place.

Sure there's been a few on here trying to get their hands on a mk2 saloon rear bumper. May be worth your while removing.

Not worth it. I picked one up from a scrappy thinking the exact same thing, after ~month of having it on here for sale, nobody wanted it. Ended up practically giving it away on ebay for a couple quid.

I think so but i didnt look at the drivers one.
I think there all ok and the sexy ap racing callipers were still on it.
I was so tempted to take them off.
Simples, go back at midnight and freebies galore....
Not that ive ever done anything like that or would even condone such behavior:roll:

The Evo was in Devizes yard not Challow.

i went to look at the tvr that was there aswell...
if the dog bites ya, you can sue trespass or not. the dog we had at the yard i worked at, if ya tickled his ears he stopped. either that or tazer um.....

Rear beam on that mk2 Cav estate might be worth something to the mk2 Astra boys (works touring GTE's ran mk2 Cav estate beams). The saloon Nova bumper ought to be saleable too.

As for the rear beam how deep was it in the mud there as couldnt see past the top of my boot lol.

I have the centre caps aswell for cav slabs (well opal vectra a slabs)one is a little bit scuffed but the rest are fine and the other one should clean up.
pm or text/call with an offer mate.
Not bothered about slab centre caps (boo crappy slabs lol), but the steering wheel badge I'd happily relieve you of for a few quid :D
