Having decided that i didn't want to ruin my parcel shelf and make holes in it, i am going to use the pre made holes, either side of the parcel shelf for 3.5" speakers.

So my question is; where is the cheapest place to get a pair of these?

and; Are these any good?

SXE is Alpine's "budget" range.

They'll be Ok, but don't expect them to be brilliant. tbh a 3.5" speaker back there is only going to be mid-high for the rear passengers.

Any half decend small speaker should be ok mate the ones you showed should be fine. The rear shelf speakers normally only provide mid high range for the rear passengers like RJ said.

Its also useful if you got a sub in the boot as the rear passengers will be able to hear more of the track rather then just the bass line lol

The Alpines are SXE-1025S.

I got mine from Motor World store, but are cheaper to get off their website.
