View Full Version : To a good home 1.4 5 door nova

Hello chaps I have a 1.4 gun metal grey nova that needs a home fast. It has been lowered by 20mm on spaks shock and springs and a strut brace has been fitted under the bonnet. It has cavalier brakes and red dot pads on the front and is sitting on cavalier wheels with lower profile tyres so the speado is still acurate and are still good. The interiour has been changed for a nova gsi including the seats. The exteriour is fair to good and unmolested as is the engine and it has done less than 80 thousand miles. The bad bits are that the MOT and tax are running out in june and yesterday it decided to burst a pipe and drop half a tank of fuel on the ground. Now I need it shifted quickly and the ower is getting a new car as she wants power steering . The car is to good to scrap but she hasnt got the time or money to repair. It runs and drives superbly and has not been thrashed and the previous owner Dan barlow who i belive is well known on here really looked after it and set it up for handeling rather than to tool about like a boy racer. I am open to any offers but as i said i need it shifted from the Bognor Regis area as soon as possible and it will need towing or trailering . We are not talking a lot of money at all and the parts alone are worth a fair bit but we just dont have the time to strip it.

Just been told that there is a brand new back box in the boot that has never been fitted. Its a standered unit it was bought because they were told it had a leak but when they tried to fit it it turned out to be a corroded clamp.

reminded me of my first nova 6 months mot 3 months tax £100 bargin. should have lasted 3 years and 6 months but I broke it after 2 years 7 months.

This was my old car! Served my Mum, me, Aiden and Adam and Bekah well. Happy days, but all good things...

Thank you, Family owned for 7 years, dropped -40 on shocks and springs, better brakes, wider stickier tyres and all that caper; makes it all fun and games!
