I've just removed my cam from 1.4nv engine. It only has two markings on it, one is "GM"=General motors and the other is "16" ? Is this standard or is it posibly a 1.6 cam thanks in advance
Should also have a letter on it, this relates to which GM cam it is, not sure what the 16 means, could be the 16th off the production line lol

Threads just below this one for full details ... no standard markings on it though, and it's much smaller on the 'closed' end of the cam than I remember my standard cam being, with machining marks as if it's been ground from a blank or something
got a std cam here stamped AF and 1300 on dissy end (has other stuff awell on there)
put a photo of each end of the cam if its been re-profiled it will have abnormal markings on one end (maybe both ends)
