Speedo Acuracy

Can people please post what their speedo is reading when doing 3000 revs in 4th, it's an F10 gearbox. I tihnk my speedo is out by some! Cheers.

tyres are 175x65x14 and its a 1.2. I am just awndering when other people get roughly, think mines out by a fair distance.

there is no reason why the speedo should be out. Even if you jump from a 1.0 with 13's to a 2.0 with 15's, my speedo only under reads by 3% so i just dont worry about it.

I know for a fact I do 30mph at 2000rpm in 4th. I have a 1.6 with a 1.4 SR gearbox and 195/45/16 tyres.

an F16w gearbox in second gear, 2000 = 20mph, 3000 = 30mph etc

How fast ru goin? if your doin bot 60/70 mph in 4th its gonna be about 3000rpm, thats wot it shows on my digi dash neway! wen im in 5th gear it reads bout 3k rpm, doin 70!
Im runnin a 5 speed box, 1.2, wheel size- 195/45/15"

the reason i asked is becuase 60mph in 2nd was definatly 6250rpm after swapping the dials and speedo cable it now read 53mph at 6250 in 2nd. I know that 6250 rpm it a lot but it was all in the name of beating my mates SR.

on recolection it was not out when i chaged the dials (because i wouldnt have know the revs at 60 in 2nd before chaging them), it was out after i changed the speedo cable?

speedo cable shouldn't affect it atall. Have you put white dials in? Maybe the needles went back in the wrong place.
