just a question, do i have to take my rear beam off to carry out the rear caliper conversion???

all guides say to, but surely this is not 100% necessary??

you can access everything you need to get at when on axle stands.

correct me if im wrong??

well, it is a lot easier to get everything to line up properly

its 2 bolts the handbrake cable and brake pipes to get it of and you have to change the cable and pipes anyway. stop being lazy. its not heavy and while its of you could clean it and paint it. dont forget to weld new guides for hand brake cable

I managed to re-route my pipes last time so you may be able to, Will be alot neater running new, especially if they have never been changed in 20 odd years
