Early door handles. [Archive] - Performance Nova Group

Hi, sorry to be a bore but does anyone know the year that the larger door handles were fittied to the nova, replacing the smaller early varation.

Think the early car had a smaller dorr handle? Could be totally wrong as usual :tard:

Early nova's had the same sized door handles, but the holes to bold them in were closer together.

On my old y reg, which is owned by gunny now, the door handle on passenger side didnt fit flush to the door which led me to think it was a later handle on an older door or vice versa

Think the handles are the same on all doors, it's just the lock is in a slightly differnt position on early doors.

Outside door handles are smaller on early early models i thought, as well as the lock? (Im just thinking back to a thread that is stickied in the sport section)

As keith said, the only difference in the handles themselves are the position of the bolt holes. Not sure about the locks though.

OH then yeah in that case mk1 has the little C shaped handle, the Mk2 has the (better :D) all in one pocket/handle combo.
