i have strongly noticed on this website if your not in with "the group" or you have upset one member of "the group" or even admin your very much going to get nowhere on this website with having questions answered or selling things, seems to me having a opposite opinion on this website is going to get you nowhere, so tip for newbies lots of bumming necessary to get anything out of this website, and agree with everything. slate me all you want but i cant be the only one have noticed it but then i suppose people cant own up or they will be treated differently aswell.

i think sonething should be done about it before the numbers dwindle.

As an admin I'd say I'm pretty harmless - simply because I have no idea how to ban people - yet. Although RJ's just shown me something I may have to "dabble with" (emits an evil laugh)

Seriously though - I do know what you mean but its like being a newbie at school - if you post something ghay or stupid or text type or dont read the forum rules you're going to get a kicking - it's life.

However - if you can overcome the "initiation" period and start posting sensible "useful" stuff and not just post pointless crap on muppet/general etc (and I'm not saying you do but mnost newbies start this way) then your contributions will be taken seriously and you will gain respect (and I dont mean the little green blobs).

As mentioned above - for Instant KUDOS and respect join the club - 'tis a tenner which is you attend at least one show you'll get back in discounts and your status is instantly raised as a "serious" member.

An example of a newbie NONE club member is Joe Richardson - hes a "kid" has an SR and IMO has gained big respect already.

There is one exception - Meritlover
I just wish he/she would become a member and come to the events - I'd kneel before him and kiss his heavely shoes! A god!

To add to what ade said, most people seem to get banter tbh and its just the forums way of finding out the way you are, your sense of humour and such, although i seemed to sneak in under the radar so to speak as i was a lurker for a while to get the jist of the site and when i finally registered i didnt post much at all as i didnt feel i had anything to input through not knowing anyone on here, but once you get involved and pick bits up you soon find yourself with stuff to comment on as there is a lot happening just on the forum 99% of the time.
After id made a few posts i started bumping into one or two peeps at the shows and now ive met/know a whole bunch of people on here and class them all as good mates (associates if youd all prefer lol) and if id have pulled my finger out and made an effort sooner then id possibly have been more places and met more people than i have now!

So the moral of the story is, get active and join in, its easy over the interweb and if you cant interact on here youve got no chance in real life!

no of course not what i think lee was getting at was that these threads seem to get started by people who arnt full paid up members and who have never contributed to the club or joined in with the club, if you dont join in its harder to make friends, as soon as you can afford it mate become a full member and get yourself along to a show or too, most people who do participate are great people friendly and always willing to help a fellow club member.

I really don't see the clique or an group who stick together on here. I use this site due to my interest in Novas not to try to be part of a little crew, I have met a few people off here and previous to being an 'active user' and can honestly say 99% have been sound and have always had the time to chat especially about Novas. The help/advice/guidance I have recieved and gained of the site has been spot on, why people insist on posting these threads without evidance to back up there claims is beyond me, my advise personally is use the site to your advantage and what it is here for, interact and assist where you can and stop crying that everyone on here isn't your 'bessie' and pay your tenner and stop living your live as blue font scum (joke obviously)
