Look ok to me. Just the dampers are at full extension hence why the springs are "loose".

If they need a refurb i'd be haggling on the price. Or spend a tenner and becoming a member and using the club discount to buy some spangly new GAZ!

Oh, word to the wise...sort the text type. :)

all look good tbh.

bit worse for wear though.

the rears are just wound down way too much (u should have preload. i.e when u jack the car up so wheels off the floor all the springs should be nice n tight...

looking at the state of them they've had a nice bit of abuse. and if they cost £50 a piece to rebuild (plus postage) i would be thinking the set of 4 are worth £100 max delivered to make them worth buying. otherwise an extra £100 and u have a brand new set of gaz coilovers...

yeah shoudl all go again fine. if it wer eme id strip them all down fully. set to lowest dampening and if the rears feel the same and all work as they should i would prob give em a lick of paint andn just put them on. then get both fronts re-built at the same time. it may feel/drive wierd with one as good as new and the other all loose and not dampening the same..

since the springs dont "fall out" when coilovers are jacked up and there is no pre load, then its not a problem
