Yes Cp has done this although i believe it took a lot of fiddling around.

I fitted a mk1 Sr bumper to my mk2 front! Just a few adjustments then looks fine!

i was just thinking about it cause i ain't managed to source a gsi bumper without someone wanting funny money so i was thinking of doing it temperarely but if you have to muck about don't think i'll bother
