pic posting help

can some one please tell me what im doing wrong im trying to learn how to post pics but it isnt happening. ive read razorjacks post on how to and its still not happening and im not the most clued up person on computers. im using photo bucket as my host and im posting the link with img on both ends but im still getting a red cross and nothing else what am i doin wrong :(

copy the direct link from the PB image you want to add and click the insert image button same as the 2nd from the right at the quick reply bit at the bottom of any thread. then paste the link and bobs your uncle or auntie.

i think thats what im doing im copying the image link from pb then pasteing it on to insert image and then all i get is a square with a red cross in see why im confuesed

are you deleting the http bit that auto comes up when you insert image.

yeah so it reads img http rather then http img http

when you use the direct link on PB it only has http.
