Facet pump clicking

I have a facet fuel pump on my gsi, its a little square one thats mounted underneath the car near the rear drivers arch, but its constantly clicking. Is that normal?

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can mount it on rubber bobbins to quieten it down, but mines mounted straight to the body and I don't hear it once the carbs are fired up, lol!!

ta mate. Never used one on any of my other cars before so just wanted to make sure. Must admit i dont here it very often when driving, but its a good job i dont drive from the back seat or it would do my head in after a while!
