View Full Version : C16XE in a Corsa not fueling
Ok, HAI, so as it stands I have Baby XE'd my origioanlly 1200 SPi Corsa. Everything was wired and all the ECU, Transponder and Key chip mare matching as it was me that removed it from the Donor car. Problem is that when you start the car, sometimes the EML light Flashes constantly and sometimes it doesnt but in either situation, it never powers the fuel pump.
Whats wrong?
fuel relay?
bad connection at the pump??
is it jusy not powering up at all??

I had the same kind of problem when wiring x16xe into a 1 litre corsa. Tried permanent live on fuel pump and was still cutting out. Was definately the correct transponder chip and ecu. Ended up wiring it up as a c16xe and it run fine.
I tested the pump out of the car (jump leads to the Battrey) and it ran fine. I should try the FPR but I'm wondering is this because the EML light is flashing?

for a start a c16xe dont have a chip key
Ok, so its an X16XE, so whats wrong with it then?
flashing eml light is immobiliser signal . did the transponder plug straight in or did it have to be wired in?
must be x16xe (alloy inlet) as the c16xe (black plastic inlet and air flow meter) does not have any immobilizer stuff.
Yeah I simple unplugged the old transponmder and plugged the new one in its place. I dont think its possible to plug it in the wrong way around is it?
