View Full Version : Would this look tacky
I can get powder coating done very cheep. And im going to have the engine mount and gearbox mounts done. I was thinking of having them white so i could see if anythign was leaking it would be easyer to spot. But the car is blue and wheels are black. If i had them done in white would it just look tacky and miss match of colours everywhere?
Id stick to black tbh....
White will just get dirty within about 10mins

Black FTW. lol my XE mounts are blue though  thats how they come mind.
how big is the chance to have something leaking on the mounts...
Yea thats true but how much money i will be spending on the engine the last thing i would want to do is not see it!
So you all think just stick to black then?

thats a g-clamp isnt it?
the manifold is cool, but can i ask something. how do you know its not on the wrong way up?
have you ever tried fitting it the other way lol
That's the right way as the works BTCC Cav's among other reverse head Super Tourers had a manifold that was routed over the gearbox.
ok thanks is it so the engine can sit lower or something?

Anthracite, Medium Grey or summin. Not quite black so you cant see any engine detail and not white so that it looks messy and dirty after 1 quick drive.
Have no idea if it wil look good though lol
P.S. That engine looks scary man
