if you're on a budget just pick up a second hand set. i wouldnt go for anything cheaper than fks, theres always a set for sale somewhere at around the £200 mark

If you are after something that handles, its a waste of time with cheapo kits IMO. Like most things, you get what you pay for!
FK kits are around £300 at www.venommotorsport.com
i have vmaxx coilovers under my XE nova. i cant complain about them.

Do alot of good stuff TBH. I saw them advertised in VW mags. I think thats there main focus, but seem to stock Vaux stuff aswell.

He said he had a small budget thats why i didnt mention the GAZ discount.
Buy my 2nd hand front Avo's ;)
buy cheap branded suspension, buy twice imho/ime....
either buy a decent brand 2nd hand, or save up
I'd ask yourself why you need coilovers first of all. A shock and spring kit will out perform a coilover kit at the same money and last longer.

imo unless you using the car regularly for trackdays coilovers are over kill decent springs and shocks are sufficient for everyday usage

True true. Although if you can blag some top end coilovers really cheap then yeah go for it might aswell.
being pedantic, the fronts are coilovers on "normal" nova suspension anyway lol

depends... we euro boys use coilovers so that we can go low on wide wheels without scraping.

na the car wont be hitting the track apart from the drag strip! where i stay is like disney land for pot holes! i jst want the best out of my nova and thought coilovers were the answer. so ya'll think dampers and springs would just be as good?

ye would say so for your requirements and if you get adjustable rear struts you'l be able to stiffen the rear up for drag racing to stop it squating to much on take off
