I've changed the clocks in my Cavalier but what do I do with regards to the mileage for the MOT?

Does it matter? I've kept a record of what the old clocks were at and what the new ones were so I can provide an accurate mileage, but do I need to?

I'm assuming so as it's on the sheet?

Doesn't matter.

I fitted 2 different digital dashes to my last Nova and the MOT's read something like:

2002 - 80k (original clocks)
2003 - 130k (8v digi clocks)
2004 - 90k (16v digi clocks)

Only thing I can see is potential buyers wondering why there's a sudden change in mileage when looking through old MOTs, or insurance claims if you told them you'd only do a certain number of miles a year.

In both cases, as long as you have documentation to backup your claims, such as a receipt for the new dials or what not then I wouldn't worry about it.

According to my last MOT, I've done 56k since June 2008 lol
