Just put a c16xe into a 1litre corsa b shell and has been running really nicely. Only problem is that it takes absolutely ages to start. After that it runs fine and start straight away for the rest of the day but first thing in the morning it just wont start. Take about a minute of turning over!
Any ideas?
It's offended that you put it in a bubble instead of a nova saloon :thumb:
It's been cold in the mornings recently and you haven't got the warm air feed on your induction kit iirc?
Its an injection engine, you dont need hot air crap like on a carb motor. It should fire first time everytime.
Are you using a MPi fuel pump???
Oh, fair enough, spose mine still has it because it's a poor excuse for an injection setup being single point? lol Thinking about it now actually I should know that since the 1.6 I'm sorting atm doesn't have any of that.
Pretty sure he's got an MPi pump on as he was telling me how much his cost the other day.
You can bin the hot air feed on SPi too, i never had one on mine
Just vaux being lazy then :tard: Andrew will probably be on here soonish to confirm on the pump, does sound like a fuelling issue when it's turning over, next thing to check would be fuel lines I guess?
