Right ive got disks and pads on and they seem to be very tight. When i drive the car the pads are always touching the disks and making a grinding noise. The pads are huge but surly this should'nt make it like this should it? Do i just drive the car up and down my street untill i ware away some of the pads or could something be wrong?

sounds like they are not bleed as the pads should come back a bit. but did you press the pedal firm to set the pads.

I dont mean to but in guys, I have had brake pads binding before, I would also check the piston/s on the calipers, are they moving smoothly in/out?, if the pistons are very stiff work them in and out and free them up! I def wouldnt drive the car with the noise your getting from the pads though mate, copper greasing the sliders can help, and also copper grease the necessary points on the pads as well, (obviously not the friction part of the pad itself) you know what I mean! definately give the brakes a dam gd bleeding and all should be well gd luck!!
