sunroof problems

alreet im having problems with my sunroof.
its the tilt and slide type and whenever i go to tilt or slide it the winder thing goes tight and the clicks round but doesnt move, does this mean the sunroof is buggered and needs replacing?
if so has anyone got any tip on removal/installation or suggestions how to fix it?

you need to remove the roof lining and loads of bolts hold the sunroof in. it sounds like a part has went rusty so it will need greased or replaced.
