got the saloon out today for first time in months for a check over and to fit my new fan, gave it a wash and its ready for its new down pipe on tuesday took a few pictures sorry about the quality camera phone

a few opinions on the wheels for the saloon would be apreciated stick with the khans or go back to the multi-spoke like below

ye owned it 8 years now come along way from a £150 stolen recovered, was supposed to just be a daily drive lol did think about selling it but couldnt bring mi sen to part wi it i know if i got rid of it id just want it back, and would build another so its cheaper to keep it lol

ye it had the slim mk1 bumpers years ago it did had a valver in it to on injection at that point same multi-spokes as in the picture, a young lass drove into the back of it in arksey so straightened it out and mk2'd it

the bonnet needs painting bubbled up where the two bonnets join so its in the garage might be back on for pv but other stuff to sort first will see what happens not a priority realy but the vent could prove usefull with the under bonnet temperatures wi the turbo

still dont see many there was the fiberglass brigade copies but it aint the same it weighs a tone tho but like the rest of phils car is totaly top notch, went round the other week and he wa talking about re shelling it again, but his pressent one is so clean i dont see the need, think hes now decided to not bother keeping his spare shell incase he stacks it on a track day, gonna try and convince him to bring it to national day

Im afraid the only ones I have are actually in a photo album its some years old now approx 1999? It was basically a clio 16v bulge phil got by cutting up a genuine clio bonnet and welding it to a nova bonnet. As said it was very well done once finished.

Rich, Yeh even though he's rarely on the show scene nowadays it shows his enthusiasm is still there when he has a spare shell painted up ready in the garage when at the moment he has no need for it! Ive asked him to get hiself back on the show scene but I think the track days are more his cup of tea nowadays.

got it almost finished then had a few problems wi work so needed the money so i broke it was worth bugger all un finished but got over 2k for the parts which came in handy at the time it was break that or sell the saloon and couldnt bring mi sen to get rid of the saloon

its got a hybrid turbo xe inlet cam regal front mounted inter cooled and regal eds phase 3 kit regal recon 309bhp dont recon it will be that much but if it pulls 280bhp ill be very happy, just need a decent clutch now and a diff to finish it properly and maybe a bit of gas for the strip, think low 13s will be good wi no diff and the full fat b cali leathers and boot build ran 14.3 wi valver wi everthing fitted so think a low 13 is atainable wi the extra 100bhp, if not ill gas it up to the hilt lol

no got a fuel leak i dint now about its had fook all fuel in it sat in the garage so want leaking, but tanked it up this morning and when he pulled it in to do it the tank wa covered in fuel so obviosly couldnt do anything (sparks and fuel = boom) so taking it back next thursday wa good fun getting there and back tho lol shame i had to take it out in the wet tho, got a few gorps down wheathly hall road tho which was nice!!!

ye it did mate but the paint has bubbled on the joint so needs a re-spray might get it done for pv not sure yet might just leave it till the winter now cos i intend to get the car fully resprayed this winter
