it depends how hard you drive it...

i used to average about 300-320 in my merit.

As Wisewood says, it depends on how hard you drive it as well as what type of driving you do. You will generally get better mpg on the motorway than across town. Also, there are so many different modded novas you'll be getting different answers. As for myself, I gave up trying do good mpg once I got the twin carbs, lol.

most ive ever managed is 280 miles from my 1200i

thats a full tank till the digidash starts flashing

thats cos the foot is normally welded to the floor since its soo damn slow :o

i squeezed 370ish out of a tank once. that was full to the filler level and then till it ran out and stopped.

usually i get around 300 if its on major roads and 260 if its in towns

my standard 1.2 clio will get about 350-360 out of a very full tank right down to nothing.

when I fill my tank up (approx ?20) it lasts 2 WEEKS and I still go into my local town every night to do a few laps !!! although I did use ?10 worth of petrol in about 3 hours once

its easily done, you get on the motorway and in 3 hours you used most of a tank of petrol... lol.

my 2.0 8v does 10pence per mile. That is half foot down and half sensible. The engine is unmodded.

In my 1.2, i got all the way from brentwood, essex to alton towers and back on a tank (33quid) and that was 430 miles. I did 80 all the way.

Hi -

have had 380 miles to a tank on the 1200 and that was with the needle *just* touching the red.

will do 200 miles to ?16 (m/way to billing) and i wus impressed with that..

My 106 diesel will do anywhere between 50 and 70MPG muhahahaha

The most ive ever got was 380 miles to the tank on the motorway to leeds for the carling festival and i was drivin between 80 and 115 and had four peeps in the car which aint bad my car costs about 27 quid to fill up though. its just gerneral driving that i think that the consumptions shite. and the petrol gauge has the anoying knack of doin 180 miles for the first half and about 40 for the rest... make of it what you will.

with my slightly modded sri engine in i got 70-90 miles out of ?10 round town ands i have a heavy right foot.
With my 1.6 16v i get 60-80 out of ?10 and the induction note if far too tempting not to drive at full throttle.

cruising at 60 on the motorway i did 50 miles on less than ?5 petrol which is pretty good

i usually manage 300 miles or so in the nova (?30) or 220 - 250 miles to ?55 in the cossie :(

250 miles is all I can get, thats being really sensible with the right foot.
It's because my front wheels are all over the place due to 3 accidents.

I usually get 220 from it.

yeah that sounds about the same as mine well so long as it normal for that type of enggine to do about 220 to a tank. I just though that it might have a bit better fuel consumption
