View Full Version : Corsa A GT queries
Myself and Nova13sport have been debating what to do, we've decided on Mustard yellow, but the Vynal is an issue for me. Yay or nay? The Corsa GT was available with and without it, but I'm afraid of getting numptys going "thats not a rear GT, its got no Vynal on it" so I dunno what to do.
Any pictures of a GT at all for those of us who haven't seen one please chap?

I think you'll find, that you posted the same vehicle, as your piccy came after mine.......
back at the thread, sr's & gt's are actually quite rare these days, cos a lot of the stickers got ripped off them in the 90's, but I actually agree with the comments which say 'do whatever you yourself want to do with the car' cos its your money & you will have to live with it.
Well up until now this cars fate has specificially been chosen by PNG users and I'm happy to live with that. As for the Sheep comments, I'm not a sheep, you'll find I'm the Oppisate. Binning GSi Kits and Speedlines for Black Comp MOs and standard Grey Bumpers.

I dunno, on a brosure shown to me by Nova13sport there was a Corsa with no side Vynal but with rub strips marketed in Europe, I like that look.
Vinyl would look kinda odd without the rubbing strips imo, altho i've never really liked them I think they're worth it for the side Vinyl look lol

you need the rub strips if fittingt vinyl - if you dont it looks wrong imo.

if you can get hold of suitablke grey matt finish vinyl let me know because the only option I'm left with is getting a 50mtr roll specifically made to the right shade.
The printed stuff on such big panels (eg side) doesnt look right and I think its gloss anyway...
Ade. let me see what I can come up with. I remember seeing 3mx.30m rolls of stuff somewhere, just need to remember where.

It'd be a "gt" replica because it's "foreign". lol
XE Nova from the scotland region fitted side skirts to his Nova and oainted the lower sections to replicate the SR vinyl and I have to say it looked really smart!

I have everything incl the correct interior, Spoiler, Snow Plough, Bumpers, Badges where applicaple, Opel GT 13" Steels and 3 Spoke Opel Badged Alloys, Rub Strips and if required (may go XE) a 1.3 OHC set up.
