ive got both of these and make complete use of these too, good savings!!!
tbh I get just as good a discount at the local motorfactors by asking for a better price :) Halfords is a handy saftey net though and the card is good in that case

I have a few mates that work at Halfords. Hmmm trade card FTW lol
i just walked in and asked for one. when thay ask what i had to qualify for one i sed nothing but thay still sorted me one out.
Vauxhall use to know me so well they setup a trade account in my name, rather than the 'normal' trade account ;) No ID, headed paper, etc just blagged
We have a very good motor factors in our group and every thing it cost plus 10% in most cases :D A battery for the Leon Cupra was £96, I paid £23.
Ive got a halfords card and use my mates trade account.
Happy days.

They no longer offer the halfrauds discount with there membership.
I usually go to the local motorfactors. Don't need a discount card and they know where there stock is.
Halfrauds staff = thick as mince

Oh, they'll take my C&G in motor mechanics. Knew that course would be useful for something.
I got an Opel Trade card when I joined www.totalopel.com (http://www.totalopel.com)
As for the Halfords trade card, you need to be VAT Registered before they'll consider you for it.

Hmm, reckon they'll take degree in motorsport too, or does that involve too little spanner monkey action? lol
The conveinience of halfrauds falls short of you having to deal with the tard on the counter who gives you a blank look when you ask for anything outside the basics that the training course tought him/her. I'm not saying everyone who works there is stupid just the ones I have had to deal with. When I was asking for parts for my xe and gave all the details of the car I had took the engine from and then said it was now fitted in a Nova I could see the cogs of confusion turning in his head

Requirements dont say anything about being VAT registered as far as I can see
