car thief method... slim screwdriver in each side, and prize it out...

The Haines manual reads something along the lines of...

'Remove the radio/cassette by the use of 2 U-shaped special tools placed in each of the two small hole either side of the panel - available from any good car accessory retailer. Alternatively, use 2 lengths of strong wire.'

hmmm, fuck it! Screw driver it is then lol!

Haynes Manual seems to love the ol' bit of wire with a loop at the end - need to remove window winder handle, front air grills or exhaust? The wire it is! Well except the last one...

i love it when the Haynes manual says fashion your own tool - you know you will never succeed in the task that you are trying to do. :D

I'm gonna be swapping mine for a nice new Sony CD soon :D , so i'll probably invest in those clips. Better safe than sorry :?
