Been quietly busy with the Cavalier...

Ive had this for nigh on 3 months now, and i love it more and more.

Credit crunch motoring at its finest :cool:

When i got it, it had white 16" Team Dynamics, and was lowered 40mm. Oh and it was Flame Pink.

Ive not done alot to it, but i like the way its looking at the moment. (I know any wheels over 16" Is generally ****, but i think the Cav pulls it off)

60/70mm front springs yet to be fitted, and Corsa rear springs to be fitted too.

I have an SRi tailgate lip/spoiler to go on, so once i find some skirts, the chromes going.

Tis looking good though, personally more of a fan of saloon Cavs, but its definately a good budget motor, shame they never made a good spec cav in red imo

Yeah saloons deffo look better, but for £200, i wasnt being fussylol

I beg to differ, my Cav is quite spec'd up!

Its a GLS so has, central Locking, ABS, airbag, power steering, electric windows, sunroof, rear discs and electric aerial. 2.0 16v Ecotec.

cavaliers are a decent car.

i've a couple myself.


a silver/gold2.0 8-valve hatch...................and a white turbo.

i've had a good few others aswell.

theyre a good big motor.......i love them haha.

good cheap motoring is what they can be(i only gave 100 quid for my hatchback initially)


but when ya start getting into turbo territory........that soon changes lol.

cav's are bloody nice all-round cars imo. best suited to the motorway, but can handle anything (apart from boggy wet clay *cough*)
i wouldnt advise throwing them left to right to left at speed tho, they snap out voilently and either slide sideways on a braking recovery or fishtail a fair bit on throttle recovery, on a clear road tho - good fun sometimes. in the wet they do lift-off-oversteer quite nicely tho.
