xe into corsa

just fitted a redtop into my 99 corsa sxi but the car has electric clocks and the f20 on the xe has mech drive how do i get round it so my speedo works?
ive got an f18 out of a vectra with elec drive speedo but is it as good as an f20?

Could fit the older clocks that start at 10 mph. You may be able to swap the drive, i started a thread not long ago about swapping the drive but on f15 gearbox
