not looking forward to this job, looks tricky, especially attaching the pipe to the rear jet somehow. last time i took a rear jet out i broke it. :tard:

i'd prefer to keep it, but im in half a mind to just be done with it, and ditch the rear wiper motor and the switch for the mot.

on the hose front :
what diameter pipe am i after exactly ?
4 metres should be ample shouldnt it.

cheers for any help :thumb:

use a draw wire or use your existing hose to attatch to the new one and GENTLY pull it through. just make sure its tied on properly. do it in stages, pull it from the front to the boot grommit, then from the boot up to the jet.

the rear jet has 2 little spring legs that go brittle over the years. if you break it just raid a breakers year until you find something simelar.

going along the roof has always ended up in a fail for me, going along the sill etc isnt such a bad idea.

depending where yours is broke you might be able to connect the hose where its broke (between the tailgate and roof?)

when mine broke at the boot bend, i fished out the end from the roof, cut it off square, cut a short stub of brake pipe and pressed it into the hose as a joiner, then did the same at the boot end, and spliced a short piece of silicon hose in between. the plastic hose kinks, goes brittle and breaks, where the silicon is flexible and any excess length can be poked into the boot or the roof.
