Info on Atkinson motor sport

Hi just wondering if anbody on here would have any info on Atkinson motor sport ,they build vauxhall rally cars in late 80s and early 90s and were based in Kendathel Cumbria , the late Dave Metcalfe worked for them ,I have one of there novas and just drying to get as much info as possible . thanks

it does seem sort of odd since the injection is much less, but if that's the highest state of tune, i don't see why it wouldn't be that much. I'm sure there was plenty of rally teams around willing to pay it at the time :)

Definitely a typo! It wouldn't cost that much to build one even today.

The complete car is up for sale at £18k, which starts to look sensible when you know what the engine cost to build.

The advert was scanned from an old copy of Cars and Car Conversions mag - Was posted alongside an article on the Clubman Grp A nova driven by Dave Metcalfe - although that one was built by HHMS
