as above, got one for sale and had a few ppl interested and asking if its cr.:confused: its the original box out of a 92 cav sri 16v (c20xe) and is date stamped 91, how do i tell if its c.r.?

cr is stamped next to the f16 bit
under where the linkage attaches to selector on box??

yes well it was there on my gte cr gearbox.
Its not there^
End of the box iirc. It should be somthing like C123. Wire brush at the ready.
will leave it 'till its light then, attacked the end casing with it and was nowhere in sight, must be under there or something

Everything is in the link i posted for you. The number on the end plate could be very faint. Sometimes they arnt even marked then the only way to tell is open them up and check the gears.
what am i looking for in the casing then? will pull the end casing off and count gears if i cant find i.d. on it, which one do i count?
