Corsa Handbrake

i hav recently bought a cheap n easy mod for me car, a ripspeed handbrake, one problem , the standard corsa handbrake!! how do i get it off, coz the sleeve of the ripseed cover won't fit over the top of it, i hav looked in the haynes manual and everything, plz help me, cheers

It's just a plastic sleeve that you have to pull off. Try twisting it and/or use pliers to grip it.

I've done it, and it was a bit of a biatch.
