Nova Brochures...

Seen some old Nova brochures on eBay

Some going for about £3 and others going for about £15

Are they really worth that amount of money ?

I have a fair few as well lol

Anyone else have Nova brochures ?

I wouldn't pay squat for a brochure, not for a Nova, but some will. Don't be surprised if you then see the winners go on to sell their "low mileage, mint, complete with all original documentation and brochures from original sale" Nova... lol

ive got my original warranty car that came new with mine, a map to all the Vauxhall servicing centres in 1985 and both original user manuals for the car :p

I got the original for mine for like 2 quid posted, it's actually pretty funny, came with 4 seats and a steering wheel as fantastic modern features etc

I read in some of the brochures that they came with an 'extensive anti-corrosion protection'

Most cars say that as new, but its usually only guaranteed for 3-10 years.

My celica is going nice and crusty underneath, but I do know a place that can do a steam clean and full underseal for £150 :D Hmm, anyone interested in a group buy? lol

I had a huge amount of brochures which I sold on eBay a few years back. Mostly Nova, but had the few Astra, Belmont, Cavalier, Cartlon etc etc.

Some of the immaculate ones went for just under a tenner with free postage, couple of quid for the ok condition stuff.

Duick bought a good few of them.

Yes, but a Nova floorpan is a flat bit of metal. Roll the thing over, steam it, squirt on the shizzle, job done.

Feel free to try that on the Celica without removing the rear diff lol

I wouldnt dare steam clean the underside of a nova.. god knows what can of (tin) worms it would open. Underseal & Dirt covering rust = ignorant bliss.

I sold a certain limited edition technical brochure for over £80 a couple of years ago, not bad for something that I rescued from the bin :D
I have a large collection of brochures & press photos, mainly for rare models & not just Novas. As always, value is whatever someone is willing to pay for it and that can be quite alot when the Ebay bidding frenzy kicks off.

i was watching one the other day about nova extras but missed it, and i have a guy locally who deals with brochuers and posters of all old cars etc. he has blanket copy writes for auto car magazine is it? and a few others. he is the one that is selling those nova prints on ebay. i brought two of them:)

Now that is something that p***es me off, someone photocopying ads from old mags, laminating them and selling them on Ebay for a fiver each. Especially when it fill your search page!

Nova13sport has a stunning collection of Corsa A and Nova brosures, some of the stuff in them I've never even seen or heard off. As for the price of them, yeah they're worth that and more.

I have a large collection of very rare brochures which seems to be growing and mostly I have not paid a great deal for them...

If sold off individually its scary what they could all be worth as a lot of the ones I have could cause a pretty good bidding war on Ebay.
