can any one tell me what the 3 wires do on cable driven speedo know it dosent go to clocks thanks pete

its a transducer for electric driver box
i dont get what your tyring to say mate?? the speedo just goes in the box and inot the back of the clocks?? what wires do you mean?

exactly what he says. theres 3 wires that come off the side. it can be used for elec or cable. simple as.....

yea but why. have a cable as well didnt know if it was for ecu as mine was plug in with cable

no just use your cable as normal. forget about them wires.

ive taken it out as fitted digi dash did try pluging it in to new dash but read slower. so fitted digi transducer . do i run the singnal in the old loom. witch cable unit pulg in pete

so it works with the digi just reads slower? have you tried switching the pulses switch on the digidash?

yea mate will give it a go see if it works
Its a speed sensor for the ECU so it knows when you are coasting/idling etc so it can adjust the fuelling for emissions/economy.
The digi dash speed sensor goes in on top of this replacing the mechnical speedo drive. The ecu sensor doesn't output the right number of pulses for the dash.

thanks mate that what i fort could it bring light on if un pluged and is it ok to put digi trans where speedo went in
It may bring the light on, but you might find it just stalls at junctions like Corsa's do when it's not connected lol
Unscrew original speed cable, pop in digi dash speed sensor. Job done :thumb:
