Hi guys im after some help if anyone can help??

Right i changed my 1800 for a xe ut the xe dropped its rings before i even go it on the road. So now ive put the 1800 engine back in but iv got some problems.

1. With the key removed from the ignition theres the dash lights still on battery oil eml etc etc.

2. Ive got no auxilary electrics? interior lights exterior lights, digi clock lecky windows etc etc

Now the only thing that i did was chopped and rewired the 2 plugs from the car loom from male to female as i had 4 females in total.

Now ive checked -

1. Earth lead from head straight to battery
2. Earths all tight on the n/s inner wing
3. Checked starter motor connections

can anyone help?? i really dont want to break this car as it was great before i messed with it :(:tard:

the logical approach would be to undo what you messed with, sounds like the aux has been wired to an unswitched live, and perhaps the ign circuit is disconnected altogether.
