What car would uz all have if vauxhall didnt make the nova i was just wondering coz most ov ma friends got / have novas for their first cars including me but most ov ma friends didnt no wot car they would have got instaed ov the lovely little nova

mine would be a corsa b 1.6 16v GSi and stick a turbo on it but if it was'nt for the nova the corsa might not be here either so ma other 1 would be a mk1 or mk2 clio 172 2.0 16v vvti as i know very well wot they r capable off as ma dad as owned a mk1 and now a mk2 which is gunna have well over 200bhp which is wot id do the only other car id go for if i could find a minter is a mk1 ford cortina dont laugh coz id only get the lotus version WOT U GO FOR THEN?

probably a corsa sport. either 1.4 16v or 1.6 16v. more creature comforts in the sport than the GSI/SRI

I only got a nova cos of my uncle, he gave it me. I would prob have had a fiesta zetec S or summin. Glad i got nova tho, cheaper to run while i'm at college, wen i finish college this year then i'll go get a new car... dunno wot tho! :?

...well actually my current Nova wasn't my first car (its my third).

My first car was a Vauxhall Chevette, which altho it was old and not particularly quick, was in very good condition for its age and i did love it!! (the alternitive to that would've been a Fiesta, but i'm so glad that i chose the Chevy instead and i couldn't imagine buying a Ford now)

Then when that got nicked, I got my 1.4SR. That was great for a couple of years, until i crashed it and it would've been too expensive to fix.

And now i got my 2.0-Nova (ONEPHATNOVA2.0), which i love so much and i can't really even think about selling it or getting anything else. One car that might tempt me one day is a Chevette HS2300 or for a bit more money a VX220 (which i test drove last week), but i'd miss my baby (OPN2) too much!!

well if the nova wasn't around i would probably have gone for a saxo or a fiesta xr2i. luckily the nova is here cuz i am on my third now and i am away to build one.

vauxhalls in the family, we all drive them. me dad worked at elsmere port building the mark 2 astras etc. since then hes retired but still gets a good parts discount :).he'd ring me neck if i came home with a ford lol :lol:

I cant answer this question really lol but nice t see astra's mentioned a few times ;) I actually had a mk2 golf for my first car, canny little car it was to. I wud have a nova if i wernt as tall thats why i gotta say mk2 astra.

I fort about loadsa different cars for my first car,I was considering a fiesta mk2 and doing an XR2 replica,or getting a pug 205 XS,or an astra as a gte replica :) I didnt like novas to start with,but a mate of mine got an antibes,and I just fell in love with it,ran well,fair amount of room,handsome lil car,I wanted one!!! :x I had to go one better tho,and wanted an SR,but all the ones I looked at were rotten or been in a crash,so I got my 1.2and made it look like an SR(as seen in the gallery) all in all,Id have probably got a fiesta mk3 cos my sis had one
