i cant find a clutch for the loon, its running a let with early type flat fly wheel and f20 box and eds phase 3 kit, when i turn the boost up the clutch is slipping. dont think a turbo clutch will be any good due to box but will an xe clutch handle the power?
Phase 3, and a F20?
jesus christ, and its not broken the gearbox yet? lol
TBH i dont think id want run anything other than a std let on a f20 box and clutch.

i now its alot for it to cope wi lol but its the switchable regal kit so only turn the boost up when i need it anyone any ideas on what clutch will fit and cope when the boost is up will a performance xe clutch do the job?
No XE clutches will take the torque, could swap to pot flywheel and turbo cover plate though as thats what provides the clamping and stops the clutch slipping.
Do Lets and Xe's(pot type) have the same fly??

Yes.

is it just the cover plate that differs with the clutches depending in fly wheel then?
Obviously the splines in the centre are different to suit the F28, not sure if the friction material is different tho ?
I've got a genuine Vaux LET / F28 clutch forsale, you could use the coverplate with your friction plate, would need to swap to a POT fly tho.

but say it was just an xe is the clutch the same for both fly wheels just the cover plate that differs ?
Aye if its just an XE clutch, the only difference (as far as i know) is the cover plate.
The cover plate on a LET clutch has more clamping force than a POT type XE clutch cover plate.
So when running a f20, a pot fly, let cover, and xe friction disc is the way to go?

Correct, although I went for a billet pot fly as the standard one weighs more than a Nova lol
