Got a 2.1 8v, lightened and balanced, piper 285 cam and is running twin 45's. I am going to take it for a RR session, but wanted to check what choke size i should be running?

I currently have the carbs off the car to fit some new misab plates and have the opportunity to change them if necessary.

They are currently 36mm which from a couple of websites seems about right, but i have found a couple that suggest 34mm.

Any comments/opinions would be appreciated.

motorscope recomended 36 to my mate who runs a 2.1 but it ran like a bag of poo so hes gone back to 40s, but the engine does have a fair bit done to it my 48s used to run 42 chokes these were on 16v motors would think 36s would be fine for your needs

Mine are running 36mm to but haven't had it on the rollers yet so can't tell you how they did. Running on a 20xe.
