Will my car pass an MOT with 4 point harness' running over the standard reclining seats? I'm thinking not, but hoping.

Should be fine, as long as they are secure. Prob be MOT testers discretion TBH.
My mates Corsa passed today with harnesses fitted.

mine passed with the harnesses in but they do go through the holes in the bucket seats.

The vast majority of people running harnesses attach the shoulder straps to mount points shown above which is deemed to be unsuitable.

as long as all the mountings are secure with no corrosion within 30cm of mounts, and the belts are in good condition with no rips tears or holes
they should pass :thumb:

well i'd pass them anyway

forgot about this. Cheers for the replys. Suprised that they allow it TBH as the reclining mechinism was never designed to take the strain of seat belts/harness in a crash, etc. Thought I would need fix back seats...

The seat doesnt do any of the support though, so it doesnt matter.
