just put an xe in my t reg sxi today and the wiring is confusing me
i normally take a blue/red wire to the fuel pump but the loom i have doesnt have a blue/red wire does anyone know which ones of the wires in the pic is for the fuel pump
can i run the pump direct from the red/blue wire on the relay

and is a 1.2 16v sxi fuel pump ok to run an xe?

the wiring for the f/p and other stuff is on the 1.2 16v is at the side of the glove box, and yes the std pump will run the xe.

the red blue should be on a plug on its own. its slightly thicker and comes from the fp relay

looks like the last pic the connector on the right hand side with a single wire. or if not go straight off of the bottom of the fuel pump relay..

Ive wound wires together before now but that was just to get the car up and running.Once that was sorted ive always soildered the connections.
I did some work on a mate's car before now untill the point were my hand was stuck under the dash with 12v's going through it as there was a live wire behind the dash and was earthing through me.
I refused to work on it after that.
He bought the car like it or i would of slapped him.
