Calling into a old Vauxhall dealer this morning just before 9am, guess what i got !!!!!! :D :D :D :D

New front panel
hatch wing
2 saloon wings
early front bumper
and a few later mat sets !!!!!!

Just glad to get mats for my car but there is about 6 sets of fronts only, have to go back to the garage as well !!!!!

Fairplay. How did you come across it all? Did you just call in randomly and ask if they had any Nova bits?

just called in, very lucky, I had phoned the parts department a while back and they said they had nothing in stock, called in and spoke to the owner of the garage, he was happier to sell the bits, even went and got them for me.

Typical of the parts department to say they had nothing in stock - they are useless bastids! There's an old dealership round my way thats been closed down for years and years untouched. I always wonder if they have any old stock left kicking around in there.

You will find the reason he was so happy to sell you the bits is because after so long of a car being out of production they clear out and bin any old unsold stock so they just write it off and bin it so the parts he sold you just became his weekends beer fund bud, who cares though as youre happy to buy them and he has made a few naughty squids lol

And matt empty dealerships always get cleared out of any stock even if its just binned it will be cleared out completely!
