you can buy proper internal ones, but there crap lol

the main problem is, ( i might be talking out my **** here )
you would have to have your windows open, as the shell would act as a Faraday cage blocking the signal

amplify the aerial and its fine. my cav has this setup.

my brother had a mk1 scirocco that he stuck the aerial inside cos he didn't own a drill. as long as the base is earthed ok, it will work.

Will work fine. I ran an aerial behind my dash for a while on my old saloon.
